The vampire is a non-dead and non-living creature who, following popular superstitions,come out of the tomb to suck the blood of the living in order to draw the vital force. The legend of the vampires has its origins in ancient mythological traditions and we find legendary beings with vampire characteristics in all kinds of cultures around the world.
